Welcome to Echo ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Echo mobile application (the "App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Echo is an AI-assisted writing tool that helps you draft replies, rewrite text in different styles, compose content using voice input, and adapt suggestions to your preferences over time. Features and availability may change as we improve the App.
You must meet the minimum age required in your jurisdiction (typically at least 13 years old) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf where required.

To operate Echo, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, store, process, transmit, and display your User Content solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the App and related services (including machine-learning features described in our Privacy Policy), unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Certain features may require a paid subscription or may be offered with a free trial. Pricing, billing cycles, and trial terms are presented in the App and in the applicable app store at the time of purchase. Subscriptions may renew automatically until you cancel through your app store account settings. Refunds and billing disputes are generally handled in accordance with the policies of Apple or Google, as applicable.
Output is generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. Echo is not a substitute for professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any content before you send or rely on it.
The App, including its software, branding, design, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the App is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim or fifty dollars (USD), unless applicable law requires otherwise.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Echo and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the App, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or harms the service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mozambique, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where prohibited by applicable mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notify you through the App. Your continued use of the App after the effective date may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
